NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 09:59AM

ADF Foods(up 2.58%), Bajaj Consumer(up 1.78%), Heritage Foods(up 1.75%), DFM Foods(up 1.72%), Varun Beverages(up 1.43%), Britannia Industries(up 1.39%), Parag Milk(up 1.36%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.35%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 1.26%) and Tasty Bite Eatables(up 1.22%) were among the top gainers.

Nakoda Group(down 3.28%), Dangee Dums(down 3.01%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.98%), Vadilal Industries(down 0.89%), Gillette India(down 0.79%), Nestle India(down 0.58%), Prataap Snacks(down 0.37%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.16%), Emami(down 0.11%) and P & G Hygiene(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 61.7 points up at 16667.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 212.4 points at 55681.3 at around 09:59AM.

Tech Mahindra(up 3.12%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.67%), Wipro(up 2.57%), HCL Technologies(up 2.41%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.22%), Coal India(up 1.89%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.6%), Infosys(up 1.59%), NTPC(up 1.37%) and JSW Steel(up 1.26%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 2.66%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 2.37%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.4%), SBI Life(down 1.05%), Eicher Motors(down 0.88%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.75%), Nestle India(down 0.59%), ICICI Bank(down 0.51%), Axis Bank(down 0.45%) and Shree Cement(down 0.45%) were trading in the red.
