ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.
Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.51 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 2.01 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.77 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.62 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers(down 1.98 per cent), DLF(down 1.23 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.23 per cent at 432.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 21.55 points at 16627.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 78.17 points at 55547.07.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Vedanta, Coal India Ltd and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Future Enterprises (DVR), Guj Mineral Dev., Excel Ind, InfoBeans Tech and Madhya Bharat Agro hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SoftTech Engineers, Dr. Reddys, AIA Engineering, Endurance Tech. and Kansai Nerolac hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
