Varun Beverages(up 5.13%), Dodla Dairy(up 3.41%), Heritage Foods(up 2.10%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 1.44%), Parag Milk(up 1.29%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 1.06%), Future Consumer(up 0.69%), Umang Dairies(up 0.46%), Hind.Foods(up 0.44%) and Zydus Wellness(up 0.39%) were among the top gainers.
JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 2.65%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 2.08%), Dangee Dums(down 1.81%), Vadilal Industries(down 1.81%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.58%), Gillette India(down 1.45%), Britannia Industries(down 1.32%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.20%), Marico(down 1.06%) and Emami(down 0.98%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 233.35 points down at 16560.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 935.91 points at 55311.37 at around 10:44AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 6.41%), Coal India(up 5.96%), Tata Steel(up 5.6%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 3.27%), UPL Ltd(up 3.23%), JSW Steel(up 2.82%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.53%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.5%), SBI Life(up 1.23%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki(down 4.22%), ICICI Bank(down 4.09%), HDFC Bank(down 3.85%), Asian Paints(down 3.79%), Bajaj Auto(down 3.64%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 3.11%), Hero MotoCorp(down 2.94%), HDFC(down 2.84%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.57%) and UltraTech Cement(down 2.56%) were trading in the red.
