Banks in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, and Himachal Pradesh will be closed.
Bank holidays are also determined by state governments; there are a few state-specific holidays when banks will be closed. Banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
