Adani Power(up 12.42%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 10.54%), Inox wind(up 8.79%), Tata Power Company(up 7.68%), NLC India(up 5.31%), Gujarat Industries Power(up 5.28%), Hitachi Energy India(up 5.02%), K.P.I. Global Infrastructure(up 4.99%), Torrent Power(up 4.94%) and Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 4.51%) were among the top gainers.
Indowind Energy(down 4.72%), Orient Green Power Company(down 4.57%), Energy Development Company(down 1.88%), Jyoti Structures(down 1.01%) and Karma Energy(down 0.35%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 472.55 points up at 16720.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 1587.81 points at 56117.72 at around 11:25AM.
Tata Motors(up 7.61%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 6.74%), Tata Steel(up 5.93%), IndusInd Bank(up 5.75%), Hindalco Industries(up 5.37%), Bajaj Finance(up 5.24%), JSW Steel(up 5.21%), Coal India(up 5.2%), Bajaj Finserv(up 5.07%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 4.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Britannia Industries(down 0.38%) were trading in the red.
