    The first step to checking if your account has been hacked is to see if you have received any email from security@mail.instagram.com. Instagram usually informs you if there has been any change in your login credentials and you may be able to undo that.

    If both of your credentials have been changed, then you will need to request for a login link. To do that, go to the login screen, and tap ‘Get help logging in’ on an Android or ‘Forgotten password?’ option on an iPhone. Then enter your username, email address or phone number associated with your Instagram account, and then tap Next. After that, select either your email address or phone number, then tap Send login link.
