
NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Friday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, CIL Securities(14.8%), Vipul Organics(14.63%), Suryalata Spin(14.6%), East West Holdings(14.48%), Globus Spirits(14.4%), Chordia Food(14.31%), Denis Chem Lab(14.22%), Artefact Proj(14.21%), Sandu Pharma(14.19%) and Gayatri Project(14.07%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 1328.61 points up at 55858.52, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 410.45 points up at 16658.4.
In the Nifty 50 index, 47 stocks ended in the green, while 3 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Jyoti Resins, Orient Bell, Active Clothing Co, Decillion Finance and Tejnaksh Healthcare hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ridhi Synthetic, Anisha Impex, Varun Mercantile, Narayani Steels and Union Quality touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
