CG Consumer shares rise 3.43% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. traded at Rs 419.5 on BSE at 01:08PM (IST) on Friday, up 3.43 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 350.35 and a high of Rs 512.05.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 418,772 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:08PM (IST).

The stock of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 25473.28 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 39.14, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 12.79. Return on equity (ROE) was at 34.86 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 478 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 5.99 per cent in the Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 50.52 per cent and 32.82 per cent, respectively.
