Live market updates: The key benchmark indices were holding on to their gains as investors monitored the ongoing Russia-Ukraine developments. Rising crude oil prices and the monthly F&O expiry on Thursday are also likely to add to the market volatiltiy.
As per the latest reports, Russian President Putin said he was ready to look for "diplomatic solutions" amid raging tensions with the West over Ukraine but added "the interests of Russia, the security of our citizens, are non-negotiable for us".
The BSE Sensex is up around 200 points above 57,500 levels, while the NSE Nifty50 was hovering around 17,150.

Sectorally, Nifty PSB, Realty, Consumer Durables and Metals were the top gainers, 1- 3 per cent higher, while Nifty Bank, Auto and Pharma also held onto modest gains. Nifty IT and FMCG were also in the green with relatively milder gains.
