Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 10:55AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.82%) and Sikko Industries(up 0.26%) were among the top gainers.

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 4.46%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 3.86%), Madras Fertlizers(down 3.03%), KRISHANA(down 3.01%), G S F C(down 3.00%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.51%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.44%), Agro Phos(down 2.43%), National Fertilizer(down 2.22%) and Aries Agro(down 1.98%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 65.85 points down at 17210.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 176.77 points at 57656.2 at around 10:55AM.

Maruti Suzuki(up 1.54%), Shree Cement(up 1.19%), ICICI Bank(up 1.0%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.94%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.59%), HDFC Bank(up 0.38%), Eicher Motors(up 0.25%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.2%), Bharti Airtel(up 0.19%) and Cipla(up 0.18%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Coal India(down 3.71%), UPL Ltd(down 2.26%), Titan Company Ltd(down 2.12%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.7%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.62%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.55%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.53%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.51%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.34%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.33%) were trading in the red.
