Russia-Ukraine standoff: EAM Jaishankar bats for diplomacy, says differnt kind of approach needed

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the situation for the tensions between Russia and Ukraine needs a "different kind of approach." He stressed reconciliation. He also said that we are a far more globalized, inter-defended, and inter-penetrable world. Both of the countries should focus on diplomacy. To This Manjeev Puri said that India has excellent relationships with Russia, the United States, European countries, and as well as Ukraine. If these tensions unfold then the US and the European countries will leave sanctions on Russia and this could impact India in terms of hydrocarbon supplies, military supplies.
