LIVE market updates: The domestic benchmark indices were holding steady gains in the late noon deals amid reports of Russia further withdrawing some military troops, and scheduled peace talks with the US next week.
The BSE Sensex was up over 100 points around 58,000 levels while the Nifty50 was testing 17,350-mark. In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices were down 0.2 per cent each.
Sectorally, the Nifty PSU Bank index was up 1 per cent while Realty index was down 0.7 per cent.
