
NEW DELHI: TCS(Rs. 1397.53 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 1126.08 crore), Infosys(Rs. 959.03 crore), HDFC(Rs. 907.38 crore), SBI(Rs. 779.50 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 769.80 crore), RIL(Rs. 763.04 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 672.03 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 587.04 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 565.47 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 28.3 points down at 17276.3, while BSE Sensex fell 59.04 points to 57832.97.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 0.77 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.06 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent) and Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
