I am looking for a premium SUV as a family car, and it will be driven on highways. I have shortlisted the Range Rover Velar and Volvo XC60.

The Velar stands out with its classy design and rich cabin, and is nicer to drive than the XC60. The Volvo has very comfortable seats, a good ride and a plush cabin, too. However, our pick would be the Velar, which is the more desirable of the two.
