South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has confirmed that its premium Galaxy S22 lineup will be launched in India on February 17. The tech giant will unveil the phones in India at around 12:30 PM. The event will be live-streamed on Samsung’s official social media channels.

The Samsung S22 lineup features the regular Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latest smartphones known as the successor to the S21 series were launched during the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event that was held on February 9.

Expected price in India
The smartphone maker will reveal the price for Indian market during the launch event. However, according to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will start at Rs 69,900 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will arrive at a starting price of Rs 1,09, 900.

A week ago, Samsung began accepting pre-reservation for the Galaxy S22 series in India. Consumers can pre-reserve by paying Rs 1,999. It has been reported that pre-reserving consumers are likely to receive a Galaxy SmartTag for free.

During the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2020, it was announced that the Galaxy S22 will start at USD 799 (around Rs 60,000), the Galaxy S22 Plus at USD 999 (around Rs 75,000), and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at USD 1,199 (around Rs 90,000). The official pricing for the S22 lineup in India is yet to be disclosed by the brand.
