ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:44AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.64 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.7 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.48 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.86 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.77 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.73 per cent), DLF(down 0.56 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.37 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.14 per cent at 455.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 5.35 points at 17316.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 89.03 points at 57907.65.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, Suzlon Energy, BHEL and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of IVP Ltd, Times Guaranty, Mawana Sugars, Precision Metaliks Ltd. and Megastar Foods hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Crown Lifters, Dev Information Tech, Manappuram Finance and GE Power India hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
