NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 104.67 points down at 57892.01 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Vivid Mercantile(down 15.29 per cent), RCL Retail Ltd.(down 11.76 per cent), Shreyans Ind(down 10.29 per cent), S M Gold(down 10.14 per cent) and Butterfly Gandhi(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 17.6 points down at 17304.6.

On the BSE, Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd., Emergent Global Edu, Anjani Foods, G R Infraprojects Ltd. and Suvidha Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while IVP Ltd, Pro Fin Capital, A Infrastructure, GeeCee Ventures and Times Guaranty touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
