AgenciesNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Thursday.
Shares of Godrej Properties(up 1.22 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.68 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.64 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.59 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.44 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.73 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.71 per cent) and DLF(down 0.61 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.24 per cent down at 454.7.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 17.6 points at 17304.6, while the BSE Sensex stood down 104.67 points at 57892.01.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 ended in the green, while 29 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, YES Bank, JP Power and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Univastu India, IVP Ltd, GeeCee Ventures, Times Guaranty and Precision Metaliks Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Crown Lifters, G R Infraprojects Ltd., Bliss GVS Pharma, RM Drip and Sprinkle and Dev Information Tech hit their fresh 52-week lows.
