Great Place to Work has honoured Tata Steel as one of India's Best Workplaces in the Manufacturing Category for 2022. The company has received this award for the fifth time, which reflects its culture of trust, growth and caring for its employees. Over the years, Tata Steel has initiated several path-breaking policies, practices and initiatives for various sectors of the workforce such as the placement of transgender and women in core mining operations.

As a global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work has been studying employee experiences and people's behavior in organisations for more than three decades. Every year more than 10,000 organisations from more than 60 countries partner with the Great Place to Work Institute for assessment, benchmarking and planning actions to strengthen their workplace culture.
This year 132 organisations from the manufacturing sector participated in the assessment. The study also represented the voice of 3,83,583 workers in the manufacturing sector across the country. Based on a rigorous evaluation process, Tata Steel has been named as one of the top 30 organisations recognised as India's Best Workplaces in Manufacturing Category for 2022.
