Centre convenes meet on Godavari-Cauvery link project

Vijayawada: The Union government has convened a meeting with four states and one Union territory to discuss the way forward towards implementing the Godavari-Cauvery link project. The meet is scheduled to be held on February 18 in New Delhi.

The department of water resources notified Andhra Pradesh, Telangana state, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Puducherry about the meet to be held between additional chief secretaries/principal secretaries of the water resources department of respective states, with the secretary of water resources, Union ministry of Jal Shakti at the Shram Shakti Bhavan.
