ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:39AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.
Godrej Properties(up 3.53 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 3.46 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 2.76 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.67 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 2.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills(down 0.64 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.95 per cent at 459.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 8.2 points at 17360.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 83.78 points at 58058.27.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, JP Power and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Fiberweb India, Megastar Foods, Keynote Financial, Mirza Intnl and Vedant Fashions Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Atal Realtech, Crown Lifters, Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd. and Innovative Tyres & T hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
