The company is expected to launch two phones, the Realme 9 Pro and a new Realme 9 Pro+. A vanilla Realme 9 could come later in the year. Some specifications for the Realme 9 Pro+ were confirmed by the company ahead of the launch. This includes the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip along with an Arm Mali-G68 GPU. The phone is also confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS. We will have to wait and see for the full specifications for the new Realme 9 Pro series. It should be noted that Realme is launching its series ahead of rival Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 Pro series. Only the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S have launched in India; the Pro variants have not yet launched for. India.

The new phones will be 5G ready as well, which is not surprising. Realme has launched plenty of 5G phones in the Indian market already across price points. And given the importance of the Realme 9 series, it makes sense this will have support for next generation of mobile connectivity.
Realme has revealed that the Realme 9 Pro Plus, the top variant of the series, will come to come with a flagship Sony IMX766 50MP main camera sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation).
