NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:15AM

Vadilal Industries(up 2.30%), Varun Beverages(up 2.05%), Godrej Consumer Products(up 2.01%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.75%), Nestle India(up 1.52%), Future Consumer(up 1.45%), Nakoda Group(up 1.34%), Parag Milk(up 1.32%), Britannia Industries(up 1.05%) and P & G Hygiene(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers.

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 3.31%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 2.62%), Bajaj Consumer(down 2.15%), Zydus Wellness(down 2.02%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 1.42%), DFM Foods(down 1.34%), Hind.Foods(down 1.15%), Emami(down 0.87%), Heritage Foods(down 0.47%) and Umang Dairies(down 0.42%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 99.3 points up at 16942.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 371.56 points at 56777.4 at around 11:15AM.

Hero MotoCorp(up 2.89%), Eicher Motors(up 2.48%), Shree Cement(up 2.43%), Infosys(up 1.95%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.74%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.62%), Wipro(up 1.55%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.53%), Nestle India(up 1.5%) and Bajaj Auto(up 1.47%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Cipla(down 3.07%), Tata Steel(down 2.14%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 1.29%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.17%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.14%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.09%), JSW Steel(down 0.85%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.76%), ICICI Bank(down 0.68%) and NTPC(down 0.64%) were trading in the red.
