Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: TCS(Rs. 473.54 crore), HDFC(Rs. 464.25 crore), Cipla(Rs. 415.76 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 345.89 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 314.73 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 292.16 crore), SBI(Rs. 275.22 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 271.50 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 268.08 crore) and RIL(Rs. 255.54 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 60.25 points up at 16903.05, while BSE Sensex was up 242.98 points at 56648.82 as of 10:19AM(IST)on February 15.

In the Nifty index, Shree Cements Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 3.35 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent) were among the top losers.
