Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:00AM

Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 4.01%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.86%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.64%), G S F C(up 1.47%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.42%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.14%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.81%), Coromandel International(up 0.71%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.46%) and Agro Phos(up 0.23%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 5.02%), Sikko Industries(down 3.67%), ZUARIAGRO(down 2.97%), National Fertilizer(down 2.09%), KRISHANA(down 1.98%), Aries Agro(down 1.78%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.28%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.20%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 67.5 points up at 16910.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 267.19 points at 56673.03 at around 11:00AM.

Hero MotoCorp(up 2.32%), Shree Cement(up 2.14%), Eicher Motors(up 1.96%), Nestle India(up 1.94%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.66%), Infosys(up 1.61%), Wipro(up 1.61%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.51%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.48%) and Tech Mahindra(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Cipla(down 3.24%), Tata Steel(down 2.23%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 1.59%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.2%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.19%), NTPC(down 1.13%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.12%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.05%), ICICI Bank(down 1.03%) and JSW Steel(down 1.01%) were trading in the red.
