Ambuja Cements shares drop 2.0% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 360.5 on BSE at 11:32AM (IST) on Monday, down 2.0 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 261.1 and a high of Rs 442.95.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 22.25 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 16.23 per share and 2.17 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 41,385 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:32AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 71691.72 crore and is part of the Cement - Pan India industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 29.96 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 17.86 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 364.45 and Rs 358.3.
