NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. traded 3.83 per cent down in Monday's trade at 11:57AM (IST). Around 15,288 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 1340.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1340.0 and Rs 1290.45, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1674.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1290.45.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. stood at Rs 63616.66 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 438.06 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2021, down 30.6 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 631.25 crore and down 3.09 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 452.05 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 317.53 crore, up 1.28 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2021, DIIs held 11.33 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 28.12 per cent and the promoters 48.05 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 50.43 and a price-to-book ratio of 8.04. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
