BJP will erase all Muslim symbols, says Mehbooba Mufti

Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said BJP won't stop at Hijab controversy and would want to erase all the symbols of Muslim identity in the country.

She alleged that the BJP is running the country according to the party's agenda and not as per the Constitution which has tarnished the image of India across the world.

"I fear that the issue is not going to stop at the Hijab. The BJP will target other symbols of muslim identity and will want to erase them all. They don't want Indian Muslims to be just Indians, they want them to be the BJP," said Mufti while addressing a presser at her residence.
