IPL 2022 Auction Day 2 Live: Tim David, Romario Shepherd The Surprise Packages, U19 Stars Raj Bawa, Rajvardhan Hangargekar Hit Jackpot
IPL Auction 2022 Live Updates: U19 cricketers Raj Angad Bawa and Rajvardhan Hagargekar were picked up by PBKS and CSK respectively. Liam Livingstone, Odean Smith remain the biggest picks so far but Eoin Morgan and Aaron Finch went unsold on the second day of the IPL auction 2022.

IPL 2022 mega auction live updates: Tim David and Romario Shepherd emerged as the biggest surprise packages after being picked up for Rs 8.25 crore and Rs 7.75 crore by Mumbai Indians and SRH respectively. MI paid Rs 8 Crore for England's Jofra Archer. India U19 cricketers Raj Angad Bawa, Raj Angad Bawa, who played crucial roles India's World Cup-winning campaign in West Indies, have hit the jackpot in IPL 2022 auction. Bawa was picked up for Rs 2 crore by PBKS and Hangargekar got Rs 1.5 crore from Chennai Super Kings. Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed might not have played for India in the last year but they have earned big in IPL auction 2022. Chetan Sakariya was another young pacer who had a big pay day after he was picked by DC for Rs 4.2 crore.
England's Liam Livingstone was bought by Punjab Kings for a whopping Rs 11.5 crore while West Indies all-rounder Odean Smith earned Rs 6 crore after being picked up by Punjab Kings. Aiden Markram was the first player to be picked on day 2 of the IPL 2022 auction for Rs 2.6 crore by SRH. Ajinkya Rahane went to KKR while big names like Ishant Sharma, Eoin Morgan, Marnus Labuschagne and Aaron Finch remained unsold.
As many as 97 players went under the hammer on the first day of the IPL auction on Saturday. Ishan Kishan (Rs 15.25 crore) and Deepak Chahar (Rs 14 crore) were the biggest buys of the day after being picked up my Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, respectively. Avesh Khan, on the other hand, became the most expensive uncapped player in the history of the IPL when Lucknow Super Giants acquired his services for Rs 10 crore.
