IPL Auction 2022 Live Streaming Online, IPL 2022 Auction Full Players List Live News: The Mumbai Indians splashed the cash to bring back wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan for a whopping Rs 15.25 crore, making him the highest-paid player at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Mega Auction. He also becomes the second-highest-paid Indian in an auction.
The biggest surprise of the day was the Delhi Capitals splashing Rs 10.75 crore for Shardul Thakur, who played a starring role for the Chennai Super Kings during their title-winning campaign last season. The Men in Yellow were expected to go back for the 30-tear-old, but exhausted much of their allotted quota on Deepak Chahar, who cost a staggering Rs 14 crore. Chahar is the first player for whom the Super Kings have spent more than Rs 10 crore in any IPL auction.
Fast bowlers commanded a premium at the auction with Harshal Patel, who won the Purple Cap last season, returning to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 10.75 crore. Kiwi seamer Lockie Ferguson was sold to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 10 crore, while Prasidh Krishna was sold to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 10 crore. The Punjab Kings secured the services of South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada for Rs 9.25 crore, while the Royals spent Rs 8 crore to sign Trent Boult. India pacer Mohammed Shami went to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 6.25 crore.

Earlier, the Kolkata Knight Riders bet big on Shreyas Iyer, signing the former Delhi Capitals skipper for a cool Rs 12.25 crore. The Knights also broke the bank to bring back Aussie pacer Pat Cummins for Rs 7.25 core, while brining back India batter Nitish Rana for Rs 8 crore.
Later in the day, Sunrisers Hyderabad splashed Rs 10.75 crore on Nicholas Pooran after a fierce round of bidding with the Kolkata Knight Riders. The biggest event of the IPL pre-season got off to a flying start with a bidding war for India southpaw Shikhar Dhawan, who raked in a whopping Rs 8.25 crore from the Punjab Kings.
West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was sold to the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 8.75. crore. On the other hand, Faf du Plessis was signed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, where could take up the captaincy role, for Rs 7 crore. The Delhi Capitals signed Aussie batter David Warner for Rs 6.25 crore.
The IPL mega auction was briefly halted amid a fierce bidding war for Wanindu Hasaranga when auctioneer Hugh Edmeades fainted and fell off the podium. The IPL’s official Twitter handle announced that he suffered from postural hypotension and was attended by a medical team. The auctioneer is stable and recovering with Charu Sharma taking over his duties. Meanwhiile, the Lankan cricketer returned to the Royal Challengers for Rs 10.75 crore.

According to IPL rules, each team can retain a maximum of four players, bringing down their overall kitty from the approved Rs 90-crore limit. The two new teams joining the IPL from this season were allowed to sign three players before the auction. The Super Giants roped in KL Rahul, who will also captain the side, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi, while the Titans have signed Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, and Hardik Pandya, who will lead the team.

Uncapped spinner R Sai Kishore, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 3 crore. This will be the Tamil Nadu native's first IPL season.
Uncapped pacer Avesh Khan, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 10 crore. Having begun his IPL career with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2017, he signed for the Delhi Capitals in 2018 and finished as the top wicket-taker for the Rishabh Pant-led side in IPL 2021.
Uncapped pacer Kartik Tyagi, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 4 crore. He made his debut with the Rajasthan Royals in 2020. In the 2021 season, he conceded just one run while defending four in the final over against the Punjab Kings to win the match.
Uncapped wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3.4 crore. The 22-year-old was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad in 2021.

Uncapped all-rounder Shahbaz Ahamad, with a base price of Rs 30 lakh, sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 2.4 crore. The Bengal player debuted for the Royal Challengers in 2020.
Uncapped all-rounder Harpreet Brar, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to the Punjab Kings for Rs 3.8 crore. The 26-year-old joined the Kings in 2019.
Uncapped all-rounder Kamlesh Nagarkoti, with base price of Rs 40 lakh, sold to the Delhi Capitals for Rs 1.1 crore. The 22-year-old signed for the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018.
Uncapped all-rounder Rahul Tewatia, with a base price of Rs 40 lakh, sold to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 9 crore. The 28-year-old has had two stints with the Rajasthan Royals, and a run each with Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) and the Delhi Capitals.
Uncapped all-rounder Shivam Mavi, with a base price of Rs 40 lakh, sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 7.25 crore. The 23-year-old has been with the Knight Riders since 2018.
Uncapped all-rounder Shahrukh Khan, with base price of Rs 40 lakh, sold to the Punjab Kings for Rs 9 crore. The Tamil Nadu native spent the 2021 season with the Punjab Kings.
Uncapped all-rounder Abhishek Sharma, with base price of Rs 20 lakh, sold to the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 6.5 crore. The 21-year-old was signed by the Delhi Capitals in 2018 but moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2019.
All-rounder Riyan Parag returns to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 3.8 crore. The uncapped player played the last two seasons with the Royals. He started with a base price of Rs 30 lakh.
Batter Rahul Tripathi sold to the Chennai Super Kings/Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 8.5 crore. The uncapped player started with a base price of Rs 40 lakh. He joined the Rising Pune SuperGiant in 2017 before moving to the Rajasthan Royals in 2018. In 2020, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders.
South African batter Dewald Brevis sold to the Mumbai Indians for Rs 3 crore. The uncapped 18-year-old is considered as a clone of batting great AB de Villiers and started with a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
Abhinav Sadarangani sold to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 2.6 crore. The uncapped batter had a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal sold to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 6.5 crore. He spent two seasons with the Mumbai Indians between 2012 and 2013 before signing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014.

England pacer Mark Wood sold to the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 7.5 crore. Wood will return to the IPL after his one and only stint in 2018 with the Chennai Super Kings.
Aussie seamer Josh Hazlewood sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 7.75 crore. The 31-year-old was part of the Chennai Super Kings team that won the IPL title last season.
Kiwi seamer Lockie Ferguson sold to the Gujarat Titans for Rs 10 crore. The 30-year-old spent the past three seasons with the Kolkata Knight Riders and was part of the New Zealand side that lost the ICC Cricket World Cup final to England in 2019.
India bowler Prasidh Krishna sold to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 10 crore. The pacer, who spent the past three seasons with the Kolkata Knight Riders, debuted for India in ODIs last year.

The southpaw was part of the Windies side that suffered a 3-0 whitewash at the hands of India during the just-concluded ODI series. He was signed by the Mumbai Indians in 2017 before being snapped up the Punjab Kings in 2019.
Former India wicketkeeper and Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 5.5 crore. The right-hander has previously played for the Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Lions and the last three seasons with the Knights.
England international Jonny Bairstow sold to the Punjab Kings for Rs 6.75 crore.
