IPL Auction 2022 Live Streaming Online, IPL 2022 Auction Full Players List Live News: The IPL Mega Auction 2022, Day 2 began with an emotional video message from Hugh Edmeades, the IPL auctioneer who had collapsed on the stage at ITC Gardenia on Saturday. In his brief address, Edmeades said that ‘the show must go on’. Veteran presenter Charu Sharma is continuing in his role as the IPL auctioneer today also. Several reports said that how Sharma was approached at the very last minute and despite not following the auction, Sharma did an impeccable job.

In terms of bidding action, the day so far belongs to the Punjab Kings. The franchise with the biggest purse in this IPL mega auction, Punjab Kings surely flexed some money muscle to pick up Liam Livingstone and Odeon Smith for cool Rs 17.50 crore. At Rs 11.50 crore, Livingstone has become the most expensive foreign player in this season so far.

Next up, we saw some frantic buying by the new team Gujarat Titans. Gujarat Titans bought Dominic Drakes for Rs 1.10 crore, Jayant Yadav for Rs 1.70 crore, Vijay Shankar for Rs 1.40 crore. Other major buy has been the Sun Riser Hyderabad picking up Marco Jansen for Rs 4.2 crore.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, is preparing a formidable bowling line-up. After buying Khaleel Ahmed for Rs 5.25 crore, DC bought Chetan Sakaria for Rs 4.25 crore. At 2.60 crore, Navdeep Saini became Rajasthan Royals’ first buy of the day.
If Suresh Raina going unsold is your heartbreak for Day 1, the finale today saw some major players such as Cheteshwar Pujara, Aaron Finch, Saurabh Tiwary, Eoin Morgan, Marnus Labuschagne found no takers. Ricky Bhui, Himanshu Rana, Harnoor Singh, Sachin Baby, Himmat Singh, Himmat Singh also remained unsold.

Pacer Jaydev Unadkat sold to the Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.3 crore. The fast bowler had a base price of Rs 75 lakh.
Pacer Navdeep Saini sold to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.6 crore. The fast bowler had a base price of Rs 75 lakh. The 29-year-old was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3 crore in 2018 auction.
Pacer Chetan Sakariya sold to the Delhi Capitals for Rs 4.2 crore. The leftie, with a base price of Rs 50 lakh, spent the 2021 season with the Rajasthan Royals.
South African quickie Lungi Ngidi goes unsold. He had been with the Chennai Super Kings over the past three seasons and had a base price of Rs 50 lakh.
Sri Lankan quickie Dushmantha Chameera sold to the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 2.0 crore. This was the first IPL auction for the 30-year-old. He had a base price of Rs 50 lakh.
Fast bowler Syed Khaleel Ahmed sold to the Delhi Capitals for Rs 5.25 crore. The 24-year-old previously played for the Delhi Daredevils and was with Sunrisers Hyderabad during the past three seasons.

All-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham sold to the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 90 lakh. The 33-year-old was the most expensive uncapped player in IPL auction, with a price of Rs 9.25 crores, in 2021. The record was broken on Saturday by Avesh Khan.
All-rounder Shivam Dube goes to the Chennai Super Kings for Rs 4 crore. The 28-year-old spent last season with the Rajasthan Royals and also had a stint with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He had a base price of Rs 50 lakh.
All-rounder Marco Jansen sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for 4.2 crore. The 20-year-old spent the 2021 season with the Mumbai Indians. He had a base price of Rs 50 lakh.
West Indies all-rounder Odean Smith sold to the Punjab Kings for Rs 6 crore. This was the first time that the Jamaican had been up for auction. The 25-year-old, who plays for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League, had a base price of Rs 1 crore.
England all-rounder Liam Livingstone sold to the Punjab Kings for Rs 11.5 crore. The Englishman, with a base price of Rs 1 crore, previously played two seasons in the IPL, both with the Rajasthan Royals.
Australia white-ball captain Aaron Finch goes unsold. The top-order batter has previously played for the Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors India, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, Kings XI Punjab, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Former Kolkata Knight Riders and England white-ball captain Eoin Morgan goes unsold. He had a base price of Rs 1.5 crore.
Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne goes unsold. This was the 27-year-old's first time in the IPL auction.
India batter Ajinkya Rahane sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 1 crore. He has previously played for the Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Rising Pune Supergiant, and the Delhi Capitals.
