The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is for long expected to be not just a successor to the Galaxy S21 Ultra but also to the Galaxy Note 20 series. While Samsung hasn't followed up with another Note-series device since, it has heavily hinted that the Galaxy S22 series will have a "noteworthy" addition.
A number of leaks have previously pointed out that this could mean the S22 Ultra could be named the S22 Note and may feature complete stylus support with a cavity to store the stylus, just like in the Note series. Now a new leak further strengthens this rumour.
The leaks also reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (or S22 Note) will be launched in at least three colous. This includes a white, a black and a burgundy variant, as seen in the leaked images above.
Samsung has heavily hinted at the involvement of popular K-Pop band BTS during the Unpacked 2022 event.
While Samsung hasn't confirmed this, it could be a hint at a BTS-edition Galaxy S22 device. Samsung had launched a Galaxy S20 Plus BTS edition back in 2020, but we got no BTS-edition device in the S21 series. Whether there is a new BTS-edition device this year remains to be seen.
A new tip by Ishan Agarwal in Twitter suggests that Samsung could indeed bring the S22 series to India with Snapdragon chipsets this year. The brand usually saves its Snapdragon-powered flagships for the US market, while other regions around the world including India get the Exynos variants.
However, note that Samsung has not confirmed this information yet so we suggest you take it with a grain of salt. Whether the S22 series comes to India with Snapdragon chipsets this year will be confirmed during the launch event.
