NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. traded 0.54 per cent up in Wednesday's trade at 12:22PM (IST). Around 11,975 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 511.4 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 522.9 and Rs 511.4, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 724.5 and a 52-week low of Rs 411.0.

Total market cap of the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. stood at Rs 74738.92 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 484.63 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2021, down 37.28 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 772.65 crore and down 22.31 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 623.78 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 312.0 crore, up 2.53 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2021, domestic institutional investors held 3.64 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 16.92 per cent and the promoters 73.41 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 117.73 and a price-to-book ratio of 5.28. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
