Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:20AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.
Oberoi Realty(up 2.5 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.97 per cent), DLF(up 0.53 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.4 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.84 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.51 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.45 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.48 per cent at 466.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 127.65 points at 17394.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 417.37 points at 58225.95.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Wilmar Ltd., YES Bank, Suzlon Energy and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Adani Wilmar Ltd., Ajooni Biotech Ltd., Keynote Financial, Poddar Housing and TV18 Broadcast hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Take Solutions, Orchid Pharma, Precision Metaliks Ltd. and Uniinfo Telecom Serv hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
