DCM Shriram Industries(up 6.13%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(up 1.51%), K.M.Sugar Mills(up 1.35%), Balrampur Chini Mills(up 0.87%), Mawana Sugars(up 0.86%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.39%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(up 0.19%) and Ugar Sugar Works(up 0.11%) were among the top gainers.
Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.88%), Rana Sugars(down 2.78%), Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.00%), Uttam Sugar Mills(down 1.97%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(down 1.91%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.54%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(down 1.35%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 1.14%), AVADHSUGAR(down 0.99%) and MAGADHSUGAR(down 0.98%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 141.95 points up at 17408.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 467.39 points at 58275.97 at around 10:50AM.
Coal India(up 4.53%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.32%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.17%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.17%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.08%), HCL Technologies(up 1.89%), Cipla(up 1.84%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.73%), HDFC Bank(up 1.7%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 1.63%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, SBI Life(down 0.62%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 0.58%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.41%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.28%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.26%), State Bank of India(down 0.21%), Tata Steel(down 0.2%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.19%) were trading in the red.
