NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:24AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.
Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.75 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.59 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Indiabulls Real Estate(down 3.57 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.8 per cent), DLF(down 1.39 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.09 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.76 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.99 per cent at 463.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 39.65 points at 17173.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 118.39 points at 57502.8.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 28 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Adani Wilmar Ltd., Reliance Power and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mahalaxmi Rub, Madhya Bharat Agro, TCPL Packaging, Advani Hotels and Spectrum Electrical hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Lasa Supergenerics, Sansera Engineering Ltd., Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Precision Metaliks Ltd. and Uniinfo Telecom Serv hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
