Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 101.72 crore), Bank of Baroda(Rs. 69.86 crore), Tata Tele(Rs. 67.72 crore), SBI(Rs. 49.22 crore), Reliance Infra(Rs. 48.58 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 32.13 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 31.71 crore), GNFC(Rs. 22.93 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 19.31 crore) and EKI Energy Services Ltd.(Rs. 19.16 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:44AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 103.45 points down at 17412.85, while BSE Sensex was down 321.54 points at 58323.28 as of 10:44AM(IST)on February 07.

In the Nifty index, State Bank of India(up 3.21 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.82 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.00 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 0.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent) were among the top losers.
