Shriram Trans Fin shares decline 2.12% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 1235.55 on BSE at 01:19PM (IST) on Friday, down 2.12 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1104.05 and a high of Rs 1696.15.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 13,609 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:19PM (IST).

The stock of Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 33480.87 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 14.03, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.66. Return on equity (ROE) was at 11.5 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 169 stocks traded in the green, while 331 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 26.06 per cent in the Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 53.15 per cent and 15.19 per cent, respectively.
