Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 7.54%), Indo Tech Transformers(up 4.98%), Karma Energy(up 4.95%), Torrent Power(up 4.82%), Indowind Energy(up 4.81%), NLC India(up 4.78%), Reliance Power(up 4.75%), Adani Power(up 2.70%), GE Power India Limited(up 2.24%) and Voltamp Transformers(up 2.14%) were among the top gainers.
Orient Green Power Company(down 4.91%), Jyoti Structures(down 3.85%), Energy Development Company(down 0.79%), RTNPOWER(down 0.69%) and Kalpataru Power Transmission(down 0.09%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.3 points up at 17587.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 58.33 points at 58846.35 at around 09:59AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 2.6%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.42%), Tata Steel(up 2.02%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.8%), Grasim Industries(up 1.7%), Shree Cement(up 1.44%), JSW Steel(up 1.42%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.24%), HDFC Bank(up 1.04%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp(down 1.4%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.02%), ITC(down 0.68%), Eicher Motors(down 0.6%), Reliance Industries(down 0.6%), Wipro(down 0.56%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.53%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.52%), Cipla(down 0.39%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.38%) were trading in the red.
