
NEW DELHI: Renowned value investor Vijay Kedia on Thursday bought 40,007 shares of Ambika Cotton Mills at Rs 2243.12 per share, bulk deal data published by NSE showed. The transaction is valued at around 9 crore.
As of December quarter, he did not hold any significant stake in the Rs 1300 crore company. Shares of the firm advanced 11 per cent during the day.
In another transaction, Nomura Singapore bought 1 crore shares of Dhani Services at Rs 153 apiece while Tamarind Capital sold 4 crore shares at an average price of Rs 139.62 per share.
The data also showed that Serum Institute of India sold 3.58 lakh shares of Panacea Biotec at Rs 278.15 per share.
