Vivo teases Vivo T1 5G design ahead of India launch, likely to feature 6.67-inch full-HD display, Snapdragon 778G SoC

Vivo has officially confirmed that it will launch its first smartphone in the T-Series, the Vivo T1 5G in India on February 9. The smartphone has already been launched in China in October last year.

The latest smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SOC. Earlier it was reported that the company will replace its Y-Series after launching the T-Series.

On Tuesday, the company released a teaser video showing the new smartphone's design. The promo highlights features such as the ability to shoot clear images at night.

The promo shows the device's waterdrop-style notch, thin bezels, and gradient colour. It also flaunts the smartphone's triple rear camera module. Although the company is yet to reveal the specifications of the smartphone, it is promoting it as a device that is high on performance.

Vivo T1 5G will be available on Flipkart, Vivo's official online store and offline channels. The company claims the smartphone to be the fastest device in its segment.

Expected features based on the variant launched in China:

⦁ 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display
⦁ 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
⦁ Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC
⦁ Up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage.

The company is yet to reveal the prices. However, the Vivo T1 5G launched in China at CNT 2,199 which is around Rs 25,800 for the 8GB+128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB model and 12GB + 256GB storage variant were priced at CNY 2,399 (around Rs. 28,100) and CNY 2,599 (around Rs. 30,500) respectively.
