Adani Ent. shares rise 0.68% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Adani Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 1759.55 on BSE at 12:33PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.68 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 541.0 and a high of Rs 1908.55.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 59,056 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:33PM (IST).

The stock of Adani Enterprises Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 193016.67 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 190.23, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.61. Return on equity (ROE) was at 5.37 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 402 stocks traded in the green, while 98 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 74.92 per cent in the Adani Enterprises Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 17.25 per cent and 4.97 per cent, respectively.
