ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.
Brigade Enterprises(up 7.17 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 3.16 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 2.32 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.61 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.59 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty(down 1.2 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.48 per cent at 495.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 155.0 points at 17731.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 532.11 points at 59394.68.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, PNB, SAIL and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mallcom(India), Nahar Poly Film, Everest Ind, Jainam Ferro Alloys(I)Ltd. and Capri Global hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Precision Metaliks Ltd., Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Shri Ram Switchgears and Hind Nat Glass hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
