The New York Times (NYT) has announced its acquisition of Wordle, a website-only word game on 31 January, 2022.
With this move, NYT aims to reach its digital content to 10 million subscribers by 2025.
The gaming website is acquired at an undisclosed price in the low seven digit figures (USD).
