Pidilite Ind shares rise 0.71% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Pidilite Industries Ltd. traded at Rs 2474.55 on BSE at 12:38PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.71 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1665.0 and a high of Rs 2764.6.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 14,726 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:38PM (IST).

The stock of Pidilite Industries Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 125616.82 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 99.74, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 16.45. Return on equity (ROE) was at 20.31 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 306 stocks traded in the green, while 194 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 69.98 per cent in the Pidilite Industries Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 11.66 per cent and 7.49 per cent, respectively.
