Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 1134.65 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 591.44 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 532.49 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 431.31 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 381.99 crore), SBI(Rs. 381.53 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 362.40 crore), IndusInd Bank(Rs. 344.36 crore), RIL(Rs. 320.68 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 318.90 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 206.05 points up at 17545.9, while BSE Sensex was up 718.94 points at 58733.11 as of 10:55AM(IST)on February 01.
In the Nifty index, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 4.67 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 4.06 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 3.20 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.17 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.47 per cent) were among the top losers.
