AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Dynacons Sys(19.98%), Orient Bell(18.8%) and Shreeshay Engineers(18.42%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 76.71 points down at 57200.23, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 8.2 points down at 17101.95.
In the Nifty50 index, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Dynacons Sys, Orient Bell, Shreeshay Engineers, Lotus Eye Hosp and Orbit Exports hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ranjeet Mechatronics, Vaibhav Global, Pyxis Finvest, Hind Nat Glass and Superior Finlease touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
