Owing to the backlash, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra took cognizance of the matter. Tagging the comments inappropriate, the minister said he has directed Bhopal' Commissioner of Police to investigate her remark and submit a report within 24 hours.

Mishra was quoted saying, "I have heard it and I strongly condemn it. I have directed the police commissioner of Bhopal to probe it and give a report within 24 hours. After that, we will see what action can be taken in the matter."
The web series also features Telugu star Digangana Suryavanshi and actor Sourabh Raaj Jain of 'Mahabharata' fame in pivotal roles.
