Colgate-Palmolive share price down 2.12 per cent

Shares of (India) Ltd. traded 2.12 per cent up at Rs 1389.0 at around 12:07PM (IST) on Thursday. The stock had closed at Rs 1419.05 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 1269.74 points lower at 56588.41 around the same time.


The scrip has declined 8.97 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 17.05 per cent during the same period.

The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 1823.0 and the 52-week low price at Rs 1375.55.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 17,607 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 35.53, an EPS value of 39.17 and a price-to-book value of 36.38. In the Nifty50 pack, 4 stocks traded in the green, while 46 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while foreign institutional investors and MF ownership stood at 18.02 per cent and 2.86 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1358.93 crore, up 16.03 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 1171.18 crore and up 5.09 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1293.05 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 269.17 crore for the latest quarter.
