Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 38.58 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 15.99 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 15.72 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 14.66 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 13.83 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.89 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 6.56 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), Alok Industries(numbers of share traded: 4.73 crore) and Inventure Grwth(numbers of share traded: 4.36 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 128.85 points up at 17277.95, while BSE Sensex ended up 366.64 points at 57858.15.

On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
